Congratulations on your New Kitten!
The Duncan Veterinary Hospital Team wants to ensure you are educated about the care, nutrition and changes regarding your new family member in order to grow healthy and happy. It is recommended that every kitten go through three visits to the veterinarian between the ages of 6 and 15 weeks to get proper booster shots and tests to ensure optimum health. We offer the Loving Care Program and if you go through all of these steps with Duncan Veterinary Hospital, then we will offer a half price spay or neuter when your pet is between the ages of 4 and 12 months. The surgery, anesthesia, pain/stress management, use of the surgery suite and one night of hospitalization will be done at half price. 1st Visit between the ages of 6-8 weeks: 1st RCCP vaccination, Intestinal Parasite Screen, pediatric examination and consultation on nutrition, parasite control and a kitten care wellness kit.
2nd Visit between the ages of 9-12 weeks: 2nd RCCP vaccination, FIV/Leukemia Test, 1st Feline Leukemia vaccination, Intestinal Parasite Screen, pediatric examination.
(Does not include cost of heartworm preventative or flea and tick control.)
3rd Visit between the ages of 12-15 weeks: 3rd RCCP vaccination, 2nd Feline Leukemia vaccination, Rabies vaccination, pediatric examination and consultation on prevention of heartworm disease, flea control, microchipping and schedule of spay or neuter.
