The Duncan Veterinary Hospital Team

Dr. Michael Hudson grew up in Duncan and is the son of Dr. Truman Hudson, a long-time and well-respected, large animal veterinarian in Stephens County. Michael Paul graduated from Empire High School in 1988 and from Oklahoma State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. He practiced veterinary medicine in Norman, OK for 13 years before returning to his hometown and purchasing Town and Country Veterinary Hospital in July of 2008. In April of 2009 he changed the name to Duncan Veterinary Hospital in honor of his father. Michael Paul has a wife, Lisa, and three boys, Bryce, Jerad and Nathan. His activities outside the Veterinary Hospital include Rotary, Boy Scouts, coaching wrestling, Leadership Duncan, and his family. His furry family includes: two Golden Retrievers named Sullivan and Thomas, and one cat named Lexus.

Our Veterinary Technicians:

Michelle, RVT is a graduate of Brown Mackie College with an associate’s degree in veterinary technology. She comes to us from Louisville, KY, where she had 2 years of experience working with companion and exotic animals. Her furry family includes two cats named Mortimer and Newt as well as a German Shepherd named Krieger and a Border Collie named Navi.

Nicole is a wife and mother. She comes to us with over a decade of experience working in a practice with multiple veterinarians. She graduated from VTI Academy for Veterinary Technicians in Dallas, Texas in 1989. She loves kicking back with her fur babies, Lippy and Jasper, and her two goats, Bucky Marcel and Prince Jeremy.

Shelly, RVT graduated from Oklahoma State University with an associate's degree in Veterinary Technology. She is also a retired Navy Veteran of 20 years of service. Shelly loves her job and co-workers. She spends her free time with family and friends. She loves landscaping and hanging out with her best furbaby, Honey.

Other staff:

Amanda has been happily married to her husband for 30 years with 2 grown children. She comes to us from Oklahoma City where she has several years experience working in the veterinary field. She loves going camping and spending time with her 2 German Shepherds, Karma and Rags, and her Yorkie, Boomer.
